BC faced off against Olympic Club twice in one week with a pair of Friday night games which featured a highly-talented, efficient O.Club offense and "less-than-exemplary" performances from BC. Barbary fell short in each game, losing 9-6 and 11-6, respectively. In a sullen turn of events, BC is presently challenged to ride-out this season's low-point, 3 straight losses, and double-digit injuries in the hope of keeping their record above .500.
Despite internal obstacles, BC has been challenged to match the 2017 Olympic Club team - among the best the Club has fielded in several seasons. OC's...

The 2017 Spring trip saw Barbary Coast head North to the city of Seattle, Washington for some vacation, team-bonding, and an opportunity to meet more out-of-state opponents - KAVU Lax and Seattle Lacrosse Club.
BC played two games on the weekend: a Saturday evening game against KAVU (BC 16 - KAVU 12) followed by up a midday contest against Seattle LC (BC 11 - SLC 10). Both games exhibited a spirit of friendly competition and high-quality lacrosse from all teams. A massive thank you to Team KAVU and the Seattle LC for hosting the games and being so welcoming, we will hopefully meet again in the future.

Another sunny morning in Sausalito, only this time the stakes were a little higher as BC met the friendly, neighborhood Olympic Club for the Northern California championship showdown. If the 2015 season has been the progression of a new BC team bonding and discovering its new identity, this game was the culmination of that effort.
After a seesaw scoreboard throughout the first half of the game, Barbary Coast stepped on the gas in the third quarter by playing selfless, team-first lacrosse that kept Olympic Club on their defensive heels for the remainder of the game. BC would be up +4 throughout...

The third game of the season, the first in Sausalito this year, found BC comfortable at home with a convincing 13-5 win over CaliLove. Barbary kept control of the game from start to finish.
Key takeaways:
- The team is reportedly failing to meet Chris-Clark-levels of post-win reverie.
- TRK hates techno. And snapchat. And young people.
- Tom Jackson.

Eastbay held a close game with BC until the fourth quarter when Barbary pulled away for a 15 - 9 win over one of the league's newest additions.
The game was marked by hard-fought, team-oriented play with more than 10 BC goals being assisted. The record will reflect that Nick Richards assisted all of his own goals. Offensive highlights included 4 buckets from Matt Graupmann, another strong midfield showing by Logan Quinn, and a coldblooded Colin Short at attack.
Pat Connelly, Joe Zingone, and Connor 'Big Tree Fall Hard' Handy held the line on defense, providing ardent support to Tyler...

The BC ship has left port early in 2015 with three scrimmages already under the team's belt. The squad took a trip south to Santa Barbara for some quality beach time and sun-fueled lacrosse against UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly SLO, finishing 1 and 1 on the weekend.
Fast forward two weeks and Coast headed down to NDNU for a mid-afternoon encounter with the Argonauts who ultimately surrendered to BC after four quarters of competitive play.
The team is enjoying a handful of newcomers this season who bring youth, talent, and depth to the BC ranks. Worthy of mention is a more handsome,...

The end of October saw Barbary Coast and friends getting tropical at the 2014 Hawaii Lacrosse Tournament. BC rolled through the first two days of the journey, winning on and off the field by handing convincing losses to its first four competitors and swimming in lava flows. The squad advanced to the semis to play our SF neighbor Olympic Club, who would ultimately fall to the Wimmer juggernaut in the finals.
A great time was had by all on and off the field. Special thanks to Scott Atkinhammer and Michael Jennaro for handling all the logistics - it's awesome to just show up and play....

BC was proud to support three of our own at the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Denver this summer.
Padraig O Laoghaire (MFA Paddy O'Learey) ran with a rowdy bunch of hooligans hailing from The Emerald Isle to represent Team Ireland.
Bash brothers, or Los Hermanos de Bash, Mike and Joe Vila dialed it in with Team Mexico for a little South of Border action throughout the week.
Max Tcheyan declined an invitation from Team Italy lacrosse, reports indicated a schedule conflict with preparations for Milan Fashion Week and "shoddy uniforms".
