A shorthanded Barbary Coast squad defeated Palo Alto Lacrosse Club in Palo Alto, California this past Saturday. A solid team effort with standout play coming from Zack Carson in goal and the bash brothers, Bennett DeLozier and Andy Doten, who combined for 22 takeaways on the day.
BC moves to 4-0 on the season and will face Olympic Club on Saturday, May 4th.

On a beautiful California day in Sausalito, California, Barbary Coast Lacrosse Club defeated Marin Lacrosse Club nine to five, in California. The game was fast paced with goals coming early in possessions and through the transition game. Once again BC showed its strong organizational skills on defense led by Dr. Lulay, Professor Atkinson, and Señor Vila, with goalie John "AV" Meade providing a cooling ice blue presence in goal. Down 0-4 at halftime, Barbary Coast battled back, behind stellar play in goal by John Meade, to beat Olympic Club in double overtime. Scotty Tompkins netted the game winner early into the second overtime. Dr. Lulay led post-game celebrations that evening in North Beach where Ryan Brown-Normandeau was insulted by a man in a vest.
BC is on a bye this week and will face off next against Marin on Saturday, April 20th in Sausalito.

Defense looked solid, allowing only one goal, behind what's turning into a stable of good goalies. Tough day for Kanach who received a mild concussion while Georgetown was being upset by FGCU, but he bounced back to host the first ever, annual backyard BBQ. Tom Bendon took home MVP honors at the BBQ.
BC will host Olympic Club on Saturday, April 6th @ 2pm.
